The following writer is a young student. This paper was submitted in reference to the lack of intellectual freedom in our high schools and colleges. The author poses that the schools are a weapon of the state and that the human mind is the target. A very interesting concept.

The Genocide of Thought
Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted. - V.I. Lenin
If you believe that the first amendment of the constitution grants you the right to freedom of speech, you are absolutely incorrect. The first amendment does not grant you free speech. Each person is born with certain inalienable rights such as free speech, freedom to choose a religion, right to self defense, and the right to preserve your own mind and body in whatever way you see fit. These rights are not given to us by any institution or government, but they are given to us from God. The government wants individuals to believe that these rights are granted by them, but, we are born with these rights and the legitimate job of government is to protect us from those who would limit our rights. Lately, in America, we have been gradually censored by the institution of hate crimes laws, free speech zones, university polices on freedom of conscience, and the newly signed United Nations Declaration of Human Rights. All of these give the illusion that the government grants certain individuals certain rights during certain circumstances, but this is wrong. The worst of these forms of censorship is practiced on the campuses of American universities. These universities are highly subsidized organs of the state that promote the agenda of government power. They pretend they are fighting for freedom but they truly advocate for increased government power into the lives of people. Government power to change thought. Government power to engineer. Government ought this, government ought that. But if the government has the power to give, it has the power to take. That is why the government has subsidized the university. The university is the handmaid of the state.
America was founded on a rare ideal that the individual knows how best to govern himself, but as of late these ideals have been gradually fading into the deep abyss. It is the universities who are the perpetrators of this stealing of American rights. By the universities hiring professors that use their affiliation with the state to preach the ideas of collectivism, students are taught that self governance is not allowed and the state is the “almighty.” These new religious converts eventually go into the world and take these collectivist ideas with them. These subsidized university professors have spread collectivist thoughts and ideas which will eventually overthrow individualism. Throughout history the state has tried to suppress the individual and collectivize society, for example: The Soviet Union, Mao's China, Hitler's Germany, Imperial Rome and Ancient Egypt. All collectivized and dehumanized humanity. Making the individual insignificant and the state supreme. Reality is the Fuhrer, the Pharoh, the Caesar or the Supreme Leader. Reality is what the state says it is. America was different. America was something new. The elite hate what America was, so they made war on it.
These universities are at war with the individual and by using force of law, money and arms they have procured an education system bent on mind control. This monster they have created is the religion of the state, and anyone who speaks out against the power of the state is a heretic. Students may protest this rule or that rule, but they may not say it has not the power to rule. The state believes it is its own god. The state has always oppressed different people. They will assert one reason or another to qualify itself. The Aztecs, Romans, Egyptians, Greeks and even America used slavery and/or indentured servitude. Color was not the true issue; state power was. In every instance of slavery, powerful elites used the state to enslave and control. They used intellectuals to excuse and justify its actions. It is not skin color that leads others to enslave, it is collectivist thought that put men into bondage. The head of the Soviet Dictatorship or the Southern slave owner both believed they were better, smarter and chosen to rule and that they had a right to rule. Sound reason based on basic human rights was not an issue. A communist, a fascist or a slave owner detest individual rights based on reason. The intellectual heir of the slave master is the collectivist professor. History is the story of the individual against collective thought, and it is no different now than 2000 years ago. Jesus went up against the professors of his day, the Pharisees, and was killed for questioning their authority. Where does it end? It will end either with the death of the individual or the death of collective thinking. What side is your professor on?
This collective thinking will spread like wild fire from year to year with a new batch of students coming out of college each year. Police officers, military personnel, doctors, and journalist have all gone through these systems of collectivized learning and look at how it works out for the state. It is the duty to suppress protesters who are deemed as extremists for believing in individualism. Our young men and women overseas are taught it is patriotic to occupy a country and enact martial law upon its citizens. Doctors are taught that it is ethical to give mind suppressing drugs to children who are “too much” for teachers to handle or future life and death panels for collective health care. Journalist are allowed to put their collectivist ideas in writing and support only those politicians that believe in those ideas. It is a continuous spin cycle that is washing away the individual's rights, and it all started with the college professor who is a payed organ of the state. The German philosopher G.W.F. Hegel put it best when he said, “What experience and history teach is this -- that people and governments never have learned anything from history or acted on principles deduced from it.” The one thing that history should have taught us is that the more government the more problems and the less government the less problems. If America continues to let the universities preach the gospel of the state then no one will be able to recognize America in the coming years.
Guns cannot kill thought. Therefore the professor is a must weapon of the state. He must give intellectual cover to the violence of the state. Pilate asked “what is truth?” The battle ground of this holy war will be fought in the mind of every individual. As the greatest fighter for individual rights, Jesus, said in John 8:32, “And ye will know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.” Students will fight against the collective state by preparing and arming themselves with the truth. By arming themselves with the truth they will sound the liberty bell once again in the preparation of a revolution. This revolution will not be won by force of arms on the battlefield, but it will be fought in the mind of every student. Will there be another genocide, will there be truth, will there be 1984, or will there be 1776? Freedom or slavery, what will we choose?
