Sangamon County Libertarians

From the Sangamon County Libertarian Treasurer:

We have $185.00 in our Peace chest. You might laugh. But that means we are at least 12 trillion dollars richer than your government. $180.00 in checking and $5.00 in savings!!!!! Controversy abounds by the purchase of checks out of my own pocket. The V.P. claims I wasted valuable funds by paying $14.25 for checks. I informed him that party funds were not used and unlike the Republicrats, debt and public funding were not implemented.

P.S. Thank You for the money, but more importantly thank you for your trust.

From the SOC: Thank You for the support at the recent rally, the MMA event and the Tea Party. We are in a petition drive and have recently been accepted to the State Fair. Please volunteer where you can. Oak trees don't get big over night, but we are growing!!

The SCLP has a very determined hard core group of people that believe in freedom. Our members are active and inventive. They are also generous. Thank You for your time, thoughts, prayer and financial support. Unlike the government, we have not spent a penny of the money donated. Unlike the government, our money is generated voluntarily, not with force.

 Have you heard our cute and adorable phone message? P.S. To the Treasurer, we want to call it a peace chest or a pirates chest not a war chest. These are more appealing and more Libertarian. We also want our pictures posted and more air time. We request to be called spokesmodels but dad won't have it. We are ranting and dragging on because it's past our bedtime. Can we put all these things (including bedtime) to a vote? Gotta go:(
